Pope Francis will be installed in a celebration mass on Tuesday 19 March.

Government and Christian delegations will attend the service, as well as representatives from Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Sikh and Jain communities. Authorities in Rome are expecting crowds of more than a million people to gather around the Vatican.

Francis, the first pope from Latin America, was elected on 13 March.
