Accreditation Information Global Media Services can accredit your team on your behalf. Accreditation: Obtaining an accreditation card to the BC International Media Center (BCIMC) and the Whistler Media House (WMH) will allow you access to the AP facilities and live positions. It will also allow you to cover all events staged at BCIMC and WMH, including press briefings. Please note this accreditation will not grant you media access to events in any official Olympic venue. Special Event:
The 2010 Winter Games will take place in Canada, on 12 to 28 February 2010.

Global Media Services will set up operations in three different locations to assist in your Winter Games coverage.

Our center of operations will be located in Vancouver's Robson Square where we will provide transmission, workspace and liveshot positions. We will have a 'signature' location at the Pan Pacific Hotel, overlooking the International Broadcast Center (IBC), the Coal Harbor and Mount Seymour. We will also offer broadcast facilities and editorial support in Whistler Village, 2.5hrs away from downtown Vancouver.

All Global Media Services locations, facilities and liveshots will be available to ALL broadcasters, both Non-Rights and Rights-Holders.

* Live positions at Robson Square, in the heart of downtown Vancouver, with stunning views of the city.
* Workspace at the BC International Media Center at Robson Square, just a few blocks away from the Vancouver 2010 Main Media Center and key Winter Games venues.

* Live positions at the Pan Pacific Hotel – outside the Rights-Holders security perimeter, overlooking the International Broadcast Center (IBC), the Coal Harbor and Mount Seymour.

Workspace in Vancouver for the duration of the Games:
* Fully furnished (table, chairs).
* Cable TV.
* Hard line high-speed internet (7.1mg download/768K upload).
* Full editorial support.
* Production support.
* Access to APTN News material.
* Access to SNTV material (as per subscription).
* Access to Global Video Material material (as per subscription).
* Access to daily media briefings (taking place at BCIMC) with unsurpassed editorial access.

WHISTLER - Whistler Media House
*Live positions at the Garibaldi Lift and Company in Skiers Plaza.
*Basic workspace (limited availability).
