Describing themselves as a lost paradise in a huge city 'Velatropa' is a hidden urban community that sits right in the centre of the Argentine capital. Veiled among the trees on the grounds of the University of Buenos Aires the eco-village is an experiment in social interaction and sustainable living. While to some it may be little more than a modern hippie counter culture, it's the community's achievements in self sufficiency that are threatening to expose its little known existence.
