AP Global Media Services provides live camera positions and operational support for breaking news stories and planned events around the world, wherever and whenever they take place.
Our broadcast facilities and editorial support are on hand for broadcasters and news platforms covering global or regional news stories, and our highly specialised team of technicians and
producers provide expert assistance.
Special events
When news breaks, we are on the ground straight away, providing live positions and worldwide delivery via AP's satellite and fibre network. We also specialise in delivering live positions for major planned events, such as the royal wedding in 2011 or the 2012 London Summer Olympics, making sure you are there to catch every moment as history unfolds.
Studio facilities
We have fixed live positions in over 20 major cities around the world, including Washington DC, Kabul, and Beijing. We can also provide customers with other services from these locations including camera crews, editing facilities and workspace.
Customised production
We produce customised television coverage for anyone wanting tailor-made news reporting. For example, many Middle Eastern broadcasters use AP as an extension of their foreign desk,
commissioning us to shoot and edit exclusive fully produced news items in Arabic, ready to insert into their news bulletins. AP can customise facilities to match the requirements of our customers and offer dedicated delivery channels, on-screen reporters and access to AP content.
