Please select 'Run' when installing the Desktop Ticker, Adobe Air will then automatically install during the download process (if you do not already have this installed).

Click on the button below to download the Desktop Ticker:
Select your own preferences
Scroll Speed - Select your preferred Desktop Ticker Speed.
Open at Startup - Click on to enable (tick)/disable (clear tick).
Keep Desktop Ticker in front of windows - Click to enable (tick)/disable (clear tick).
Dock to - Choose whether to have the Desktop Ticker at the top or bottom of your screen.
Minimise - Click to minimise the Desktop Ticker.
Close - Click to close the Desktop Ticker.
The Desktop Ticker automatically updates scripts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
To view a script, click on it and it will launch in a popup window - you can then print, save as HTML or save as text.
Please note: You cannot email the script in this view. To email scripts, please open the Scripts & Text website, locate the relevant script and select 'Email'.
Launch the Scripts and Text website - Launches the Scripts and Text Website.
Select Preferred Script - Select, from your scripts subscription, what you view. The text service Global Headlines/Summaries is also available to select if you have a subscription to this service.
The Desktop Ticker automatically updates Direct 'Live Now' content information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Direct Ticker Alerts, communicated via the Direct Content Managers, will ensure you are kept up-to-date with the latest developments and announcements.
To clear the Direct Ticker Alerts, click on the Direct Ticker Alert popup window.
Use the Direct drop-down to:
Show Direct Ticker Alerts - Click on to enable (tick)/disable (clear tick) Direct Alerts.
View Last Direct Ticker Alert - The last alert sent via the Direct Content Managers.
Launch Direct Online - Launches the Direct website.
Launch Direct Message Board - Launches the Direct interactive message board.
Launch the LIVE Direct Stream - Launches the LIVE Direct Stream.

Video Alerts, communicated via our London Newsroom, will ensure you are kept up-to-date with the latest developments and announcements.
To clear the Video Alerts, click on the Video Alert popup window.
View Video Alerts - Click on to enable (tick)/disable (clear tick) Video Alerts.
View Last Video Alert - The last Video Alert sent via the Newsroom.
Launch News Guide - Launches the latest Outlooks showing coverage information across all of AP's video services: News, Entertainment, Middle East Extra, Horizons, and Technology.
Launch AP Instant Chat - Launch AP Instant Chat to chat to the Customer Desk - available 24/7. Use Instant Chat for any editorial queries (coverage enquiries, restrictions, etc).
Events - Breaking news events/special events and available operational support (live positions, editing, satellite transmissions, etc). To view an event, click on it and it will launch in a popup window. Book or request a ratecard for the event online.
Facilities - View available facilities (live positions, editing, satellite transmissions, fibre routes, crewing, etc) by location. Book or enquire online.
Launch GMS Events Website - Launches the Events web page.
Launch GMS Facilities Website - Launches the Broadcast Facilities web page.
